Using items you already earned
The Treasure-hunting Set uses one Adventure Kit, one Map and Compass, and one Treasure. Nintendo Life reports that Sableye could be assigned a home after the event ended. Check those items in your inventory rather than assuming the old exchange shop is currently open.
